This Privacy Policy explains what information FontGenerator.pk (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit fontgenerator.pk (the “Website”), how we use it, and what control you have over it.

By using the Website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.

The Short Version

  • You do not need an account to use our tools, and we do not ask for one.
  • The text you type into our font generator never leaves your browser. It is not sent to us, not logged, and not stored anywhere.
  • We collect standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) through analytics and server logs.
  • We use third-party advertising, which may set cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Text You Enter Into the Generator

This is the most important section on this page, so we will be explicit.

Everything you type into our font generator is converted locally in your own browser using JavaScript running on your device. The text is not transmitted to our servers, not written to any database, not logged, and not visible to us or anyone else. When you close the tab, it is gone.

This applies to every tool on the site.

1.2 Information You Give Us Voluntarily

If you email us or submit our contact form, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

Like virtually every website, we and our service providers automatically receive certain technical information when you visit:

  • IP address (often truncated or anonymised by our analytics provider)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system and device type
  • Screen size and general device capabilities
  • Referring website or search term
  • Pages viewed, time spent, and general navigation patterns
  • Approximate location at country or city level, derived from IP address
  • Date and time of access

This data is aggregated and used to understand traffic patterns, diagnose technical problems, and improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.

  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and others.
  • You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at Google Ads Settings.
  • For other advertising networks, the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative provide advertising-choice tools.

Third-party advertisers set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. We do not control what they collect, and we have no access to the data they gather.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of external providers to run the site:

  • Google Analytics — aggregate traffic and usage measurement. See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Google AdSense — advertising delivery and measurement.
  • Our hosting provider and CDN — serving the site and protecting it against attacks. Server logs may include IP addresses and access times, retained for security and maintenance purposes.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, and advertising partners who process data on our behalf in order to operate the site.
  • Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or a valid request from a government authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfer — if the Website is ever sold, merged, or transferred, information may pass to the new owner, who would remain bound by this Policy.

7. Data Retention

  • Text entered into the generator: never stored, so there is nothing to retain.
  • Contact form and email correspondence: kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and generally no longer than 24 months.
  • Analytics data: retained according to our analytics provider’s settings, typically up to 26 months.
  • Server logs: typically retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies: expire according to their individual lifespans, ranging from the end of your session to around 24 months.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because our tools require no registration and no personal details, a child can use the generator without providing any information at all.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact privacy@fontgenerator.pk and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

9.1 Everyone

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete information you have sent us
  • Stop using your information for a particular purpose

9.2 If You Are in the European Economic Area or the UK (GDPR)

You additionally have the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, the right to object to processing, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Our legal bases for processing are: your consent (for advertising and analytics cookies), our legitimate interests (site security, abuse prevention, and improving the service), and compliance with legal obligations.

9.3 If You Are a California Resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used and shared, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information.

9.4 Making a Request

Email privacy@fontgenerator.pk with details of your request. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site.

That said, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The strongest protection we offer is structural: because your generated text never reaches our servers, there is no store of it that could be breached.

11. International Data Transfers

FontGenerator.pk is operated from Pakistan, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. By using the Website, you consent to your information being transferred and processed in these locations.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Website contains links to third-party sites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. This Privacy Policy applies only to FontGenerator.pk. Please review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. There is currently no industry-agreed standard for how sites should respond, so we do not respond to these signals at present. You can still manage tracking through the cookie and opt-out controls described above.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, and we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we will display a notice on the Website. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
